Description

The IS Administrator I, Network is responsible for executing the most routine administrative functions for all network services for the Bank. This position is responsible for the network administration including servers, desktop systems, communications hardware/software, and office systems, ensuring the highest levels of data security and maximum uptime for all users. This role receives direction, design, and coordination information from the Information Services Engineering and Management staff.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Assists in implementation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of all network solutions and/or assists in the optimization of the efficiency and performance of current networks.
2. Provides daily administration functions for all network equipment including routers, firewalls, switches, etc.
3. Assists with design, implementation, and support for the computing infrastructure environment.
4. Maintains and upgrades all network design documentation for all environments.
5. Maximizes network performance through ongoing monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting.
6. Assists in arranging and orchestrating scheduled upgrades, patches, and firmware updates, as needed.
7. Investigates and troubleshoots issues in the local and wide area networks.
8. Assists in the design, implementation, and maintenance of the hardware and software elements of data and/or voice communication network (VOIP). Is responsible for independent analyses, communication, and problem solving of VOIP system.
9. Provides network status updates to the network engineering and management teams, as assigned.
10. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field, required.
• 1-3 years’ of network administration experience in Network Infrastructure, required.
• One or more Fortinet NSE, Cisco CCNA, CCENT certifications, preferred.
