**Housekeeper:**

The housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary and comfortable environment in assisting with overall upkeep of property common areas, vacant apartments, and communal spaces.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:**

* Dust and polish fixtures, surfaces, and furniture

* Sweep, mop, wax, and/or vacuum floors

* Remove debris and trash from all office receptacles and property trash cans, if there is not a Groundskeeper

* Wipe down doors and windows

* Examine rooms, halls, and lobbies to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and makes recommendations to management

* Clean out globes over light fixtures

* Inventory stock to ensure adequate supplies for the weeks work

* Order supplies by notifying Maintenance Supervisor

* Obtain list of vacant rooms

* Turn clean, during non-transition time

* Be respectful of residents living in open bedrooms

**Education/Experience:**

* Prior housekeeping or similar experience helpful

* High school diploma or equivalent

**Physical Requirements**

* Ability to sit for long periods of time;

* Ability to use hands and fingers;

* Ability to speak, see, and hear;

* Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push, and pull;

* Ability to lift up to 25 pounds;

* Ability to walk and climb stairs;

* Ability to think, concentrate, and communicate;
