Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Northern Virginia, has exciting employment opportunities for an experienced medical receptionist to support a busy podiatry practice in Martinsburg, WV.

General Medical Receptionist responsibilities include:

• Greeting patients as they arrive at the office
• Confirming insurance eligibility
• Answering the phones and sending messages through the office electronic medical record
• Collecting co-pays and other patient payments
• Scheduling appointments
• Checking benefits for office procedures and surgeries
• Keeping the reception area clean and organized
• Contacting insurance companies regarding issues with medical claims
• Sending out patient invoices and other patient correspondence

Job Requirements:

• High School Degree
• 1 year of experience as a medical receptionist
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills
• Medical terminology
• Must be able to work independently and on a team
• Computer Skills
• EMR experience preferred (Pulse and/or ECW)
• Professional demeanor
