Loudoun Medical Group (LMG), one of the largest and most diverse physician-owned, multi-specialty group practices in Virginia, has an exciting employment opportunity for an experienced medical receptionist to work Part-Time supporting a busy pediatric practice in Leesburg, VA.

General Medical Receptionist responsibilities include:

• Greeting patients as they arrive at the office
• Confirming insurance eligibility
• Answering the phones and sending messages through the office electronic medical record
• Collecting co-pays and other patient payments
• Scheduling appointments
• Checking benefits for office procedures and surgeries
• Keeping the reception area clean and organized
• Contacting insurance companies regarding issues with medical claims
• Sending out patient invoices and other patient correspondence

Job Requirements:

• 1 year of receptionist/front desk experience within office/healthcare environment
• Must possess exceptional customer service skills
• Must be able to work independently and on a team
• Experience working with EMR systems
• Must have problem solving skills
• Professional demeanor
