Mississippi Aquarium is Hiring a Campus Revenue Manager Near Gulfport, MS

Position Title: Campus Revenue Manager
GENERAL DEFINITION
The Mississippi Aquarium in Gulfport is seeking a dynamic and experienced On Campus Revenue Manager to oversee our ticketing and photo operations. This role is crucial in driving revenue and enhancing the overall guest experience at our world-class facility. 
The primary role of the revenue manager is to maximize the businesses’ opportunity for revenue and profits. To do that, the revenue manager oversees compiling and analyzing data to make decisions regarding pricing. The revenue manager compiles data on the business as well as the competition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Manage all aspects of the ticketing and photo operations, including staffing, scheduling, and performance management. 
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue generation through ticket sales, photo packages, and upselling opportunities. 
  • Ensure seamless guest experiences by overseeing ticketing processes, photo operations, and customer interactions. 
  • Own the management of the ticketing platform and point-of-sale system for photo operations. 
  • Work with Marketing Department to input new ticket product offerings.
  • Analyze sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize revenue streams. 
  • Collaborate with other departments to enhance cross-selling opportunities and maximize revenue potential. 
  • Maintain inventory control, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to drive sales and meet revenue targets. 
  • Provide leadership, training, and mentorship to a team of ten or more staff members, fostering a positive and high-performing work environment. 
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, hospitality management, or related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role directly responsible for generating revenue, preferably in retail, food and beverage, or attractions industry. 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Proven track record of leading teams of ten or more, achieving revenue targets, and driving business growth. 
  • Strong multitasking abilities and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with ticketing and POS systems is a plus.
