We are seeking a physician leader to serve as Assistant Medical Director for our three-location family/urgent care practice. Privately owned, non-corporate environment. Our offices are open 7-days per week.

Our Clinton office is open 8AM to 8PM everyday – Flemington and Phillipsburg locations are open 8AM to 6PM, M-F and 9AM to 2PM on weekends.

The Assistant Medical Director will report to the Medical Director. The Assistant Medical Director will work 80% clinically seeing patients and 20% administratively overseeing daily clinical operations. Candidate is a skilled, collaborative, and experienced family medicine/internal medicine physician who is dedicated to providing quality comprehensive care to patients. Must be an experienced leader who enjoys supervising, mentoring and training the clinical team.

Responsibilities will include:

· Treating both primary care and urgent care patients

· Co-signing of chart notes

· Recruiting, hiring, training and conducting performance reviews for clinical team members (physician assistants and APNs)

· Assume Medical Director role when the Medical Director is out of the office

· Ensure compliance with federal health care compliance rules, regulations and codes

Requirements:

· Board Certified Physician with license to practice in New Jersey

· Minimum of 7 years of relevant clinical experience

· Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience

· Experienced use of Electronic Health Records
