Job Title: Associate Attorney - Commercial Litigation

Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Associate Attorney with experience in commercial litigation to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in handling complex commercial disputes and a proven track record of success in representing clients in both state and federal courts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a diverse caseload of commercial litigation matters from inception to resolution.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and other legal documents.
• Prepare for and participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and internal team members.
• Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding litigation strategy and potential outcomes.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on case strategy and development.
• Ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedural requirements.
• Maintain accurate and detailed case records and billing entries.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Admission to the California State Bar in good standing.
• 2-4 years of experience practicing law with a focus on commercial litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality legal services and achieving client objectives.
• Experience with electronic discovery platforms and litigation technology is a plus.

Additional Information:

This is a hybrid position, offering a combination of remote and in-office work arrangements.

Minimum billable hours requirement of 1800 hours annually.
