Summary Scope of Role

Minimum Education/Relevant Work Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associates degree / 2-year certificate in Accounting, Finance, or related field, OR Equivalent experience required.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

• Process hotel billings and ensure timely completion of payments.
• Collaborate with property leaders to verify the accuracy of new billings and outstanding accounts, maintaining Accounts Receivable Aging in compliance with Accounting SOPs and corporate standards.
• Maintain an organized filing system for direct billing.
• Assist the Corporate Accounting Manager and Corporate Accountant with Accounts Payable tasks, including invoice processing and managing the checkbook accounting system.
• Generate and file bi-weekly payroll reports.
• Maintain a comprehensive database of all direct bill accounts.
• Perform additional accounting duties as directed by the Corporate Accounting Manager
• All other duties as assigned.

Secondary Functions & Responsibilities

• Maintain an organized filing system for direct billing.
• Communicate and collaborate with relevant corporate office support departments.
• Assist with profit and loss assessments and monthly inventories as needed.
• Demonstrate strong listening and facilitation skills.
• Exhibit excellent analytical and proactive problem-solving abilities.
• Maintain high integrity and business judgment, team orientation, goal orientation, and personal productivity.
• All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Clear verbal communication with team members.
• Ability to speak, hear, see, read, write, type, dial, reach, and bend .
• Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment.
• Must have finger dexterity to be able to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, 10-key adding machine, electric typewriter, multi-line touch tone phone, filing cabinets, FAX machines, photocopiers, dolly, and other office equipment as needed.
