Job Summary: Sets molds and prepares material for R&D samples, along with preparing outsource material orders for shipment Essential Functions:Performs mold changesPerforming level 1 preventative maintenance and removing toolCleaning and inspection of machine platen and plate holesPurging of screw and barrel to eliminate contaminationSetting next tool, connecting water hoses and safety switchesCleaning up the area in and around pressPrepares raw materialPrepare material for daily trialsClean material handling equipmentIssue and return raw materialPrepare outsource material orders for shipmentOperate/run presses if neededMaintain cleanliness of R&D areaMaintain accurate tool locations in R&D areaSupport U1 mold setting and material handling activities when daily duties are completedOther duties as requested Non-Essential Functions:Behave in a positive manner that enhances the success of the companyAbility to work flexible hours Education: High school diploma Experience/Skills:0-2 years of experience in injection moldingForklift experienceSelf-motivated and capable of managing own workload Must be able to communicate effectively in the English language both verbally and in writingPossess a high level of concentration and ability to focus on small details Physical/Ergonomic Requirements:Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
