SUMMARY OF POSITION:

We're searching for a dynamic Sales/Catering Event Coordinator to join our team and drive the success of our events department. As the primary liaison between our venue and our clients, you'll play a pivotal role in generating leads, nurturing relationships, and orchestrating seamless events from start to finish. Responsibilities:

· Lead Generation: Utilize your networking savvy and creativity to identify and cultivate leads for events through targeted outreach, referrals, and industry connections.

· Client Consultations: Meet with prospective clients to understand their event needs, provide personalized tours of our venue, and offer expert guidance on event options and packages.

· Contract Negotiation: Skillfully negotiate event contracts, ensuring all terms are clearly defined and align with both client expectations and company standards. Collect payments in a timely manner to secure bookings.

· Menu Planning Collaboration: Collaborate closely with our Chef and General Manager to design custom menus that exceed client expectations while adhering to budgetary constraints and dietary preferences.

· Progress Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, leads, and bookings. Provide regular updates to the management team on sales performance, upcoming events, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications:

· Sales Savvy: Demonstrated success in sales or a related field, with a proven ability to close deals and exceed targets.

· Exceptional Communication: Outstanding interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport, actively listen to client needs, and articulate the value proposition of our offerings.

· Organizational Excellence: Strong attention to detail and time management skills, capable of juggling multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Hospitality Expertise: Familiarity with the hospitality industry, including catering practices, event logistics, and industry trends, is preferred but not required.
