The Role:

As a member of the LifeStation Product team you will own a portion of the product portfolio including, but not limited to:

  • Our internal platform that integrates our Personal Emergency Response System (PERS) devices with our alarm monitoring software
  • Field service systems that enable installation and setup of PERS devices by our representatives at the customer’s home
  • Tools for our customer’s loved ones to locate them based on the geolocation of their LifeStation device

Responsibilities:

  • Work within an agile environment to create user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Prioritize the backlog and help define the software roadmap for the business
  • Participate in the creation of wireframes, user flows and product requirements documents
  • Partner with developers to devise and deliver efficient and effective solutions
  • Lead user research efforts through customer interviews and surveys
  • Own, distribute and optimize metrics and KPIs for the platform
  • Conduct competitive analysis and keep abreast of industry best practices

Requirements

What you need to be successful:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3 years of experience in a hands-on product management role
  • Experience working in an agile/scrum development environment
  • Knowledge of Atlassian tools (JIRA)
  • Strong grasp of technical concepts, though computer science or engineering background not necessary
  • Understanding of UI/UX design concepts and principles
  • Experience with software products that have a hardware integration component is a plus
