**What you'll do**

This senior level IT systems engineer position provides expert level support as well as solutions for the corporate enterprise Data Centers and Global Regions. Areas of expertise include many aspects of designing and supporting a secure, highly available Data Center environment including Microsoft Azure Cloud, server, storage, network, virtualization, and application troubleshooting. This individual will assist in performing technical evaluations of new products in response to business needs and strategic direction. This position coordinates with other IT business analysts, regional IT directors/managers, IT operations center, and corporate IT management to provide and support business solutions.

Manage and maintain Microsoft Azure Cloud environment

Manage, implement, and support solutions such as Microsoft SCCM 2016, SQL Server Clustering, IIS, Active Directory, capacity management, change control, storage management, application processing, network, and security services, for production and test environments

Works closely with product development teams and business management to set and achieve service level targets

Coordinates, prioritize, and reports on key activities and projects in a timely manner

Establish and regularly report metrics needed for contentious improvement, capacity management, along with general requirement of systems development lifecycle

Builds processes for rapid problem detection and resolution including escalation policies used by network operations centers staff and incident response teams

Minimum of a BS in MIS/CIS or other technology related degree; 12 years direct IT experience in place of formal degree

10 years professional experience in IT

Relevant certifications such as Azure Administrator, MCSE, MCTS, MCITP, MCPD, etc.

Expert knowledge of MS Windows Server 2019, 2016, 2012, IIS, SCCM 2016, Active Directory, SQL 2017/2019

Experience operating large, high-availability, secure, redundant, transaction-based systems

Strong working knowledge of all data center technologies, including Microsoft Azure Cloud, Windows, MS SQL server database management, VMware, networking, clustering, and internet security

Strong working knowledge and experience supporting ITIL standards such incident management and change control

Strong backup and recovery methodologies including in disaster recovery
