Bridges Health is Hiring a Minimum Data Set (MDS) Traveling Consultant Near Tulsa, OK

As a nursing professional, you have a calling to help others. We are looking for an LPN or RN who is detail-oriented and dynamic to be a Minimum Data Set (MDS) Traveling Consultant. The MDS Traveling Consultant orchestrates, directs and schedules completion of the MDS including Resident Assessment Protocols (RAPs) and Care Plans for residents.
Responsibilities and Purpose
  • Establish and maintain open, effective communication between the facility and referral sources including third party payers.
  • Oversee gathering of information for assessments and care plans.
  • Provide maximum flexibility in coordinating the payer's needs with patient outcomes.
  • Able to communicate effectively with the treatment team and influence the treatment approach, when needed.
  • Able to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
Desired Experience and Education
  • MDS experience preferred but not required.
  • Associate's Degree plus appropriate certification or BSN Qualifications.
  • Current and unencumbered Oklahoma Registered Nurse (RN) License.
  • Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Charge Nurse Experience in Long Term Care.
  • Two (2) or more years experience in a Long Term Care environment preferred.
