Bridges Health is Hiring a Director of Life Enrichment - Social Services Near Oklahoma, OK

Are you a dynamic individual with a passion for serving seniors? Do you have experience developing programs that help seniors pursue meaningful lives? If so, Bridges Health invites you to apply for our Director of Life Enrichment Social Services position, where the successful candidate will be responsible for developing a comprehensive life enrichment program and assisting social services directors at facilities we support.

We recognize that meaningful programs bring purpose, spontaneity, and joy to the lives of our residents and their families. As Director of Life Enrichment, it is your goal to offer services that encourage socialization, mental engagement, and independence while improving daily living skills and expanding personal interests and education. Services should reflect our residents' varied interests and personalities while offering the opportunity for new experiences.

You will coordinate initiatives with a corporate life enrichment counterpart focusing on activities and social media.

DESIRED SKILLS AND TRAITS

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to effectively interact with residents, families, staff, and vendors
  • Excellent organization/follow-up skills
  • Self-starter who requires minimal supervision
  • Team player who enlists the support of peers, supervisors, and vendors to ensure success
  • Able to evaluate resident needs using an evidence-based methodology

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND GENERAL REQUIREMENTS

  • 2 years working in Long Term Care - REQUIRED
  • A bachelor's degree or greater in a related field of study- REQUIRED
  • 2 years as a social services director at a long-term care facility - STRONGLY PREFERRED
  • 1 years supervisory or team lead experience - STRONGLY PREFERRED
  • Ability to travel throughout Oklahoma 3x weekly to recruit, train, evaluate, and support department employees - REQUIRED
