Job Title: Inventory Control Coordinator

Reports to: Facilities Manager

FLSA: Non-exempt

Salary: $18/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Entry Level Inventory Control Coordinator. The Inventory Control Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining accurate records of inventory levels, ensuring proper stock rotation, conducting regular audits, and assisting with inventory-related tasks. Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, counting, and verifying incoming shipments against purchase orders.
• Maintain parts crib that will be located in 501, 801, and Elkhart, some travel required between all facilities.
• Accurately record all incoming and outgoing inventory transactions in the system.
• Organize and maintain inventory storage areas to ensure efficient space utilization and easy access to items.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and reconcile inventory counts.
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate reorder requests when stock levels are low.
• Assist in the implementation of inventory control procedures to minimize loss and maximize efficiency.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate inventory records and resolve any discrepancies.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling inventory items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the inventory storage areas.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor or manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Basic computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel and inventory management software (training will be provided).
• Ability to lift and carry moderate to heavy objects and stand for extended periods.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Prior experience in inventory management or related field is a plus but not required.

Physical Demands

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, and walk. This position requires bending, kneeling, and stooping occasionally. The employee must occasionally lift or move items up to thirty-five pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position requires sitting for extended periods of time using a computer. All duties are performed in a non-temperature-controlled environment.
