Position Summary: Reason the Position Exists and Fundamental Purpose
The Shipping/Receiving Supervisor has the responsibility for the coordination of the day-to-day activities for the assigned shift within the Shipping/Receiving section. Additionally, the Shipping/Receiving Supervisor temporarily may be assigned duties normally performed by his/her subordinates or other supervisors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: List accountabilities and where possible the measurable result of the activity
? Studies shipping notices and bills of lading to determine shipping
? Oversees incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipments.
? Determines space requirements and position of shipment in trucks/rail and lays out position of shipment.
? Determines routing and legal load limits of trucks.
? Observes loading operations to ensure compliance with shipping specifications.
? Directs movement of shipments from shipping and receiving platform to work areas.
? Assist maintaining inventory accuracy.
? Participate and encourage subordinate participation in continuous improvement activities.
Safety, Environment and Quality Assurance Responsibilities
? Comply with, work to, and provide support for all Safety, Environmental, Quality, and Laboratory management systems, policies, procedures, work instructions for ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 9001, ISO/IATF 16949, and ISO17025.
? Support compliance with all other applicable regulatory (such as OSHA) and company OH&S and EMS requirements.
? Comply with all ACP Company rules, policies, procedures and report any/ all hazards, incidences and accidents identified and/ or witnessed directly to the supervisor/manager, and Plant Safety department.
? Is aware of the significant impacts, associated aspects, and the legal requirements that are inherent with acquired duties, identified hazards, assessed risks, and implemented controls within his/her dept.

? Supervise all Shipping/Receiving section members, including team leaders and fork lift operators.

Experience and Education
Experience
? Experience in supervision is preferred.
? Experience with shipping/receiving functions is preferred.
Education
? High School diploma or equivalent.
? Some college-level education is recommended.
