Xcel Energy has a bold Electric Vehicle (EV) vision to see 1.5 million EVs on our roads by 2030. This is 30 more times than we have today! We are seeking to hire a Portfolio Manager to support Electric Transportation Products (Electric Vehicles) to help us achieve this ambitious goal. This position can be based in Minneapolis, MN or Denver, CO.

***During COVID-19 Pandemic this position may require the ability to temporarily work remote within the company service territory until company protocol dictates return to the office criteria has been met.***

**Summary**

Manage all aspects of product life cycle to meet or exceed P&L related to electric vehicle advisory services, rate optimization and/or rebates. Manage all aspects of the portfolio's marketing mix, communications, consumer research, training, community outreach and support needs. Drive effectiveness of product delivery and customer satisfaction.

**Responsibilities**

* Responsible for the corporation's product market vision, plans and status to meet the developing EV market segments' needs and product goals. Oversee and ensure all portfolio strategies meet corporate and customer needs.

* Implement all aspects of portfolio's marketing mix including engagement with internal teams to develop strategy, go-to-market activities and promotional plans and measurement to inform program optimizations. Manage all aspects of daily product portfolio issues across segments to meet goals. Provide work direction to achieve goals.

* Develop budgets, sales forecasts, and profitability goals. Track the progress of each portfolio (P&L) and product against target. Accountability to product P&L. Ensure programs are being implemented within regulatory policies and requirements (specific for each state).

* Drive and champion recommendations to Product Development of new technologies available. Ensure product content and prices are accurate.

**Requirements**

* College degree.

* Four years of experience in marketing, consultative services, product and/or customer management.

* Two years of experience with program, product, or brand management and consumer research.

* Demonstrated knowledge of brand, advertising, and promotion principles and tactics.

* Team and peer leadership with excellent communications skills and proven results.

* Skills sought are: marketing, product development, program management, product management, brand management, channel management, customer service, problem solving, collaboration, proven results.

The anticipated starting base pay for this position is: $72,100 to $102,433 per year
