About this Position
As a Senior Account Executive, your primary responsibility is to leverage your extensive business network to sell the full suite of Sparkhound's Digital Transformation and Managed IT offerings including Custom Application Development, Process Automation, AI, Data Analytics, etc. The role will also have the responsibility of targeting specific industries in collaboration with the respective director of consulting services and teams that will support all sales pursuits. The right candidate will be self-motivated with an innate desire to 'win' and will determine and execute account strategies that earn trust with the client by mapping a path to accomplishing their business goals. Our post productive account executivescontinue development of their career and personal brand by actively networking at industry forums, and events, membership in associated groups, as well as engaging at a local and regional level. They must understand and be proficient in demonstrating how Digital Transformation can be leveraged to solve a gamut of business challenges and deliver tangible business outcomes to the customers.
What will you do?
  • Identify and Close at least $2M in revenue (Year 1) through new customer acquisition.
  • Advance the Sparkhound as well as a personal brand and demonstrate thought leadership on a variety of industry, business, and technology challenges and how we can deliver transformative value.
  • Build and Manage client/prospect relationships. Act as the account lead on acquired accounts, setting the sales strategy, and taking overall responsibility for developing and nurturing the client relationship.
  • Be able to articulate Sparkhound's Digital capabilities at a technical as well as a functional level depending upon the stakeholders.
  • Going beyond the obvious needs and expanding the scope of the conversation to include (or use) a "shift-left" approach to create a pipeline of opportunities to pursue.
  • Manage communications, help shape and close opportunities on acquired accounts in collaboration with the director of consulting services or designated support resources as needed. Serve as day-to-day contact for the client while the account stabilizes and accelerates account growth.
  • Expand the customer relationship spread to cut across Technology, Business, and Finance Leadership
  • Leverage a consultative approach to facilitate productive working sections with clients and prospects, solving complex business problems with innovative technology solutions.
  • Serve as a thought leader in the industry while building a brand through local community engagement and networking opportunities, marketing events, blogs, social media, etc.
  • Utilize existing relationships, as well as lead generation opportunities provided by strategic marketing initiatives to generate sales prospects.
Qualifications
  • At least 5 Years of experience working for a consulting firm, preferably in a role selling services and solutions, advocating digital transformation.
  • Demonstrated consecutive quarterly and annual quota achievement in complex selling environments and leveraging consultative value-based sales approach.
  • Experience closing a $5M to $7M Sales Quota through new logo sales and incubation with a track record of consistently growing them.
  • Understand and be able to explain the right combinatory levers like Strategy, Process, Change Management, Technology, and services/solutions including but not limited to Business Design, Process Re-engineering, Custom integrations, Web/Mobile applications development, Robotic Process / Intelligent Automation, Data Strategy, Data Science, etc.
  • High-level understanding of the latest top trends, and challenges pertaining to one or more of the industry verticals - BFI (Banking, Finance, Insurance), Oil and Gas, Manufacturing, Life Science, Pharma, Travel, and Hospitality and/or Workstreams like Supply Chain, Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), etc.
  • Familiarity with respect to broad technology capabilities, trends and ability to speak the language of the stakeholder.
  • Bachelor's Degree (in IT-related subjects)
