The Director, Sales Operations & Analytics is responsible for driving the operational efficiency and analytical insights that propel the sales team toward achieving its targets. In this pivotal role, the director will collaborate closely with sales leadership to optimize processes, leverage data-driven strategies, and drive the refinement of sales performance metrics. The objective is to drive operational excellence and data-driven decision-making across the sales organization. 

What would you do, if hired?

  • Lead the sales performance measurement process to ensure that key performance indicators (KPIs) align with business goals and accurately reflect team efficiency and success, including territory reviews and QBRs
  • Develop comprehensive sales operations strategies that support Celigo’s objectives and foster scalable growth
  • Streamline sales processes, define, implement, and enable sales with new workflows to increase the efficiency of the sales team
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., Marketing, Finance, Customer Success) to ensure a cohesive approach to the customer lifecycle
  • Conduct regular performance reviews and data audits to ensure high data quality and reliability
  • Execute analytical projects and drive action to tackle key issues in customer acquisition, engagement, and retention
  • Design and communicate sales compensation plans and define quotas to motivate the team and incentivize outstanding performance
  • Promote the use of predictive analytics and AI techniques to guide sales strategy, operational adjustments, and sales execution
  • Build a working understanding of Celigo Integrator.io for use in Sales Operations to integrate and automate data and workflows across GTM systems
  • Contribute to the improvement of the CRM system's UI/UX to enhance user satisfaction and increase adoption rates among the sales team
  • Own and manage sales forecasting tools, processes, and outcomes
  • Lead a team of talented sales operations analysts enabling our direct and indirect sellers

 Who are Looking For

  • 7 years of relevant progressive experience in Sales Operations and Business Analytics
  • Proven track record with data-driven decision-making in a high-growth dynamic environment
  • Experience with Salesforce CRM, sales automation tools, and data analytics platforms
  • Proven leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and projects.
  • Ability to lead strategic planning, resource allocation, and project execution to achieve business goals
  • MBA in relevant specialization preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with a proven ability to manage high-performing teams
  • Expertise in sales operations, sales strategy, and process optimization in a SaaS or similar technology-driven environment
  • Proficient in CRM and sales analytics software (e.g., Salesforce, Thoughtspot)
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with a knack for identifying trends and deriving actionable insights from complex data sets
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of working effectively with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities with attention to detail
  • Strategic thinking with an execution-focused approach and strong problem-solving skills
  • Experience in designing and implementing effective sales compensation and incentive programs

Celigo reasonably expects to pay a base salary between $150,000.00 per year and $195,000 per year for this position. Actual starting base pay will be determined by skills, experience, geographic location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. Total compensation may also include variable incentives, benefits, or other perks as outlined in any formal employment offer made.
