About the PATHS Program: The PATHS Program is designed to educate and empower youth ages 10 to 19 about the importance of abstinence and making informed decisions regarding their health and relationships. Utilizing the Heritage Keepers curriculum, the program aims to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to practice sexual risk avoidance.

Position Overview: The SRAE Outreach/Intake Recruiter is a vital role within the PATHS program, responsible for recruiting 225 youth annually to participate in the SRAE program. This position entails completing applications, parental permission forms, pre-test training surveys, and intake documents for each potential participant. Additionally, the recruiter will distribute applications for the FAME mentoring program and ensure participants are engaged and retained until the completion of their training. The ideal candidate will be proficient in social media, capable of designing ads, and making social media posts to enhance recruitment efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies to meet or exceed the annual goal of recruiting 225 youth into the PATHS program.
  • Complete necessary documentation for each participant, including application forms, parental permission slips, and pre-test surveys.
  • Distribute FAME mentoring program applications to all participants.
  • Utilize social media platforms to promote the program and engage potential participants, including designing ads and posting updates.
  • Maintain a strong presence in the community to facilitate outreach efforts, attending events and partnering with local schools, organizations, and community groups.
  • Monitor and report on recruitment progress, adjusting strategies as needed to achieve program goals.
  • Provide participants with an orientation to the program, ensuring they understand the curriculum and expectations.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in recruitment, outreach, or a related field, with a track record of meeting targets.
  • Strong knowledge of social media platforms and digital marketing techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire young people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the values and mission of Tampa Bay Academy of Hope.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.

Compensation: This is a full-time position with a competitive salary range of $17 to $19 per hour, depending on experience.
