Overview:
Tampa Bay Academy of Hope's Fostering Aspirations: Mentor Engagement (FAME) Program is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Advocate (Case Manager) to support and empower young mentees within the program. The Youth Advocate will play a central role in recruiting, guiding, and monitoring the progress of mentees, ensuring their successful participation in the mentorship program.

Founded in 1996, the Tampa Bay Academy of Hope has assisted over 2,500 youth and their families with leadership training, counseling, referrals, mentoring, job placement, nurturing skills, and scholarship development. TBAH serves youth, adults, and families who live in socioeconomically depressed communities. Youth receive coaching, mentoring, tutoring, literacy, life and leadership skills through our youth programs including, Read to Achieve, the Youth C5, and NOW. The areas of concentration include: school behavior attendance, academic achievement, positive youth development, parental engage...ment, and leadership. Services include: mentoring, rap sessions, one-on-one coaching, school visits, health and wellness classes, nurturing skills training, literacy skills, and exposure activities. TBAH provides services to parents and adults through our PLAN and NOW programs. Parents receive services, including family counseling, Nurturing Skills training, and literacy services. Our programs are designed to help youth, parents and families become self-sufficient and sustainable individuals in our society. TBAH programs teach and reinforce positive personal development, sustainability and leadership skills. Personal growth is enhanced by mentoring services provided by positive role models and a trained and experienced staff. TBAH recognizes and respects the uniqueness of each child.
