JOB SUMMARY

Process requests for quotes calculating the cost of materials, labor, and required production processes that meet the customer, project and product requirements.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process requests for quotes / proposals that align with client, project, and product requirements
• Coordinate and document all detailed costs, materials, and work flow required by other departments to ensure job and client expectations are met
• Monitor production and shipping schedules in order to meet customer expectations
• Generate order and inventory reports
• Make recommendations for improvements
• Verify that BOM’s have accurate quantities, cost, and processes needed to fulfill the customer’s order to their satisfaction, while maintaining profit goals
• Understand the processes and flow of production and how the rates affect the final pricing
• Be able to discern which nesting options will provide the best quote
• Quote parts, based on the cost of materials, labor and required production processes
• Enter part numbers, pricing, bill of materials (BOM) into Syteline via Vomela online
• Keep all quotes logged by part number and a summary list to calculate material required and submit purchase orders as required
• Maintain a safe clean and organized work environment
• Perform other duties or task as directed by management
• Enter recommendations to management for improvements in areas such as personal safety improved product quality better rates and yields, or any other matters that impact shop costs or employee’s health
• Other duties as assigned
