Join the team and work in a fast-paced, fun environment that is family-oriented. Come to work for a premier central Ohio remodeling contractor with an A BBB rating where you’ll be responsible for daily scheduling, coordinating, and supervising construction activities for remodeling projects.

 We are looking for an ambitious, meticulous leader with great customer service, problem-solving and Self-Management skills. The individual we select will have the ability to lead a team while holding themselves and others accountable. If you have the capacity to analyze situations and concepts, compile insights, and make effective decisions, this role is perfect for you!

Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that projects are built to requirements and specifications established by drawings, building codes, and customer contract
  • Working with customers to ensure selections are made on time and within budget
  • Monitoring production schedules, critical paths for projects, and trade partner schedules to meet timely project completion
  • Monitoring project quality and cost control to safeguard profit margin
  • Establishing processes to assure proper crews, materials, and equipment are available at each job site to maximize the company’s efficiency and profitability
  • Continually review job file and bid sheet to safeguard profit margin, determining job specifics
  • Overseeing daily jobsite reporting to identify opportunities to enhance operational efficiencies and assisting with proactive changes to improve performance
  • Monitoring purchasing, warehouse storage, and equipment/vehicle maintenance to optimize the company’s short- and long-term goals of cost reduction and increasing profitability
  • Designing and implementing checklists for inspections, quality control, and standard operating procedures
  • Inspecting project sites daily
  • Assuming overall responsibility for maintaining a clean, safe project site
  • Scheduling municipal inspections
  • Compiling Daily logs per project
  • Keeping President informed of project progress
  • Communicating with customers on job sites; Answering questions, addressing concerns, and ensuring our services are meeting their expectations
  • Ordering materials, and supplies, reserving equipment, and scheduling deliveries
  • Notifying trade partners and material suppliers in advance to assure materials are delivered and labor arrives on schedule.
  • Receiving, inspecting, and verifying all deliveries
  • Checking vendors’ and trade partners’ invoices for accuracy, and authorizing payment
  • Guiding and directing production employees, trade partners, and suppliers
  • Assisting trade partners with tasks, when necessary
  • Assisting production labor with hands-on leadership
  • Explaining and ensuring compliance to all site personnel with onsite job safety
  • Explaining quality control standards and supervising their implementation
  • Ensuring projects are built to quality standards
  • Striving for ***zero punch-out*** construction
  • Consulting with estimating team, architect, engineer, trade partners, and customers on planning revisions and change orders
  • Conducting substantial-completion walk-through with customers.
  • Coordinate punch list work
  • Developing and maintaining strong, productive supplier and trade partner relationships
  • Communicating the company’s mission, quality, and performance standards to each trade partner and supplier
  • Conducting periodic work inspections to ensure that those standards are met

Knowledge and skills required:

  • Construction management software
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints
  • Organizational skills
  • Project management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience:

We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 5 years’ experience working as a site supervisor in the renovation and residential remodeling industry. A track record of supporting the growth of an organization through overseeing and leading multiple renovation projects with success is a must.

Education/Knowledge:

  • An in-depth knowledge of the construction industry and the entire building process, including building codes, blueprints, permits, construction equipment, material resources, construction processes, and project management principles is required
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Certified lead carpenter certification, preferred
  • Certified Remodeling Project Manager, a plus
  • Master Certified Remodeler, a plus
  • Construction management certification, a plus
  • Working knowledge of QuickBooks, a plus
  • Associates degree in Project Management, a plus

Salary and Benefits:

Salary range: $80,000-$90,000 yearly depending on experience. 

6 Paid Holidays, 80 hours PTO per year.
