Join our Sterling Care team! Sterling Care is one of the oldest and highest-rated concierge homemaker and companion agencies in lower Fairfield County, Connecticut. We seek experienced, compassionate, caring, and detail-oriented homemakers and companions who want to work for our older adult clients in their homes.

Pay Range: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour, depending on experience, type of client, and shift days and times.

You must be able to commit to at least three shifts of 6 hours or more or three live-in days or more per week.

Responsibilities may include:

• Assist with activities of daily living such as grooming, bathing, dressing, toileting, and transfers.
• Assist with meal preparation.
• Provide companionship and socialization.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Light housekeeping services, including laundry.
• Accompany clients to appointments and activities.

Job Requirements:

• You must be able to lift/transfer clients of 125-195 lbs.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be legally authorized to work within the United States
• Reliable transportation to work is required, and a valid driver's license is preferred.
• Alzheimer's/Dementia experience a plus

Job Qualifications:

• CNA License or Training Certificate or HHA Certificate with 1 year full-time equivalent experience as a CNA or HHA required.
• PCA Certificate with 2 yrs. full-time equivalent experience as a PCA required.
• Homemaker or Companion with 3 years of full-time equivalent experience as a companion required.
