Glick Fire Equipment is Hiring a Facility Maintenance Near Hand, PA
- Lead by example, live the standards and behaviors consistent with the core values, vision statement and culture of Glick Fire Equipment.
- Project and assert a favorable image with team members, customers and vendors.
- Maintain a professional appearance and behavior.
- Recommend new approaches, processes, and procedures to continually improve the efficiency of the Bird-In-Hand facility.
- Lite facility maintenance – must have a working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry and building maintenance.
- Grounds maintenance – including lawn maintenance, landscaping and snow removal.
- Lite vehicle maintenance - perform preventative and routine maintenance.
- Work with other technicians in performing preventative maintenance and repairs.
- Verify vehicle serviceability by conducting test drives.
- Parts Runner – provide fast and efficient service in picking up and delivering parts orders.
- Assist with the parts department cycle counting.
- Help in the shop when needed.
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to travel (drive or fly) out of town with occasional overnight travel
- Must be hard working, dependable, flexible and self-motivated.
- Ability to stay on task, work with minimal supervision, have confidence in decision making, and possess excellent time management.
- Experience operating a forklift and a manlift.
- Perform other related duties and activities as assigned.
- Must possess a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office programs – Word, Excel & Access.
- Must have a valid Pennsylvania Commercial Driver’s License (PA CDL) with a clean driving record and reliable transportation to and from work.
- Must be reliable, have a strong work ethic and be committed to quality work.
- Must be friendly and a team player with a positive attitude.
- Industry knowledge is desirable.
