Job Purpose: Assist individuals with brain injury, intellectual disabilities, and other neurological disabilities in achieving a challenging, stimulating, dignified life by serving as an advocate and liaison for and on behalf of individuals’ rights and benefits.Essential Functions: The Direct Support Professional (DSP) works in Self-Directed Community Habilitation assisting the individual receiving services in meeting his or her goals as identified in their service plan. The DSP will work to assist the participant in achieving a challenging, stimulating, and dignified life by serving as a advocate, liaison and coach for and on behalf of the participant. This opening seeks an individual who is active and interested in mentoring a young male reach and achieve his goals towards independence.
