**Responsibilities**

Works with the schools cafeteria team to serve students healthy, tasty meals.

* Assists in preparing foods by following recipes and instructions to ensure quality and freshness

* Operates various machinery and equipment to prepare food

* Sets up and maintains serving lines and serves students

* Practices food safety

* Provides quality customer service to students

* Cleans and maintains kitchen

* Performs other related duties as required

Must be willing and able to:

* Work with a sense of urgency

* Maintain a positive attitude

* Follow instructions

* Work well with other team members

* Crosstrain as needed

* Clean, including regular cleaning tasks and periodic deep clean projects

* Lift up to 50 pounds

**Qualifications**

HS diploma or GED not required

Shift: 5.50 hours a day

Eligible for prorated leave benefits after one

year of employment
