As the Operations Leader for First Quality's Print & Packaging site, you will have responsibility for the following areas: Extrusion Hall, Press Hall, Pre-Press, Ink Systems, Recycling Hall, Warehouse, Maintenance and Reliability and own the P&L and budgeting process within the facility.

Principal Accountabilities/ Responsibilities:

• Create a safe and clean environment for all employees that meets and exceeds leading standards.
• Maximize uptime, minimize scrap and reduce overall cost that creates the most effective and efficient manufacturing environment.
• Implement KPIs using available data and systems to track progress real time.
• Create an environment where people are engaged and motivated.
• Ensure we are proficient with our maintenance and reliability efforts.
• Provide leadership to support the company’s growth.
• Support sales growth through operational efficiency while minimizing complexity.

Qualifications/ education and experience requirements:

• Minimum of 10 years of manufacturing leadership experience
• Specific experience in engineering and operations roles, preferably within the flexible packaging industry with a focus on film extrusion, recycling, and printing.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• Lean Manufacturing experience highly preferred.

• Proficient with quality and process improvement tools and techniques such as SPC/SQC, TPM, and Six Sigma
• People coaching and development experience required to meet current and future business requirements efficiently, while also accomplishing career development and succession.
