We are currently seeking a Learning Solutions Design Consultant to join our growing Consulting team. As a Learning Solutions Design Consultant at FMP, you will have the opportunity to:
Be a hands-on courseware and learning products developer using the latest industry-leading tools and technologies (Articulate, Camtasia, Adobe suite), best practice methodologies (e.g., ADDIE), and e-learning strategies and solutions (e.g., rich media, gamification)
Expand the company's Learning function, building internal capacity, process, and capabilities
Be a client-facing consultant for assessing an organization's existing training and learning assets and providing options and recommendations as well as implementing improvements for enhancing their suite of training and learning products to optimize learning experiences
Partner with clients and subject matter experts, building productive relationships, regularly communicating, and effectively collaborating with them to: learn and define requirements for new training and learning initiatives; suggest highly creative, effective, and engaging learning solutions; design specifications; develop training and learning assets following the ADDIE model; and deploy training assets that accomplish the client's learning and development goals
Design, develop, integrate, and implement new and existing adult learning methodologies, technologies, and solutions and delivery methods, including ILT, vILT, online learning, Webcasts, mobile, social, video, microlearning, and authoring tools
Partner and collaborate with other learning solutions and instructional designers, project managers, and team members to identify, brainstorm, problem-solve, and share best practices of learning and instructional training design and development
Assume responsibility for projects and deliverables, from beginning to end, with minimal supervision
Qualifications Minimum Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree in Instructional Systems Technology, Instructional & Performance Technology, or Education (with a concentration in Educational Technology) and 4-6 years of relevant work experience; OR a Master's degree in similar field and 2-4 years of relevant work experience
Demonstrated experience in the full spectrum of ADDIE for e-learning, and blended learning initiatives
Minimum of three (3) years' experience with learning content development tools, such as Articulate Storyline, Lectora, Captivate, Camtasia; proficiency using Articulate Storyline 360 is required
Minimum of two (2) years' experience providing learning solutions consulting services to clients
Demonstrated experience managing learning development and delivery projects
Desire to grow the instructional design and courseware development talents of more junior team members through mentoring and coaching
Designing courseware to meet 508 requirements and SCORM conformance
Experience integrating courseware into various LMS environments
Knowledge of federal government training practices
Demonstrated skill in:
Oral and written communications

Balancing multiple priorities and tasks; ability to adapt and pivot to respond to evolving requirements and requests
Analysis and critical thinking

Using Microsoft Office Applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
Related professional certification
Active security clearance
