We're hiring a Safety Officer PRN to join our Operations team of professionals. The Safety Officer will work at various shifts and locations in Pueblo.
What You'd Be Doing
As a PRN Safety Officer, you would play a central role in providing the very best service and support to our clients and staff by securing various facilities. As a visible first contact for guests, the Safety Officer will enhance the guests' experience by providing assistance and information. For staff, the Officer will be a reminder of Health Solutions' commitment to a safe and secure workplace.
Specifically, the Safety Officer:
* Greets customers when they come into our reception areas and asks if they need assistance; if so, assists as needed;
* Ensures the security, safety and well-being of all personnel, visitors and the premises;
* Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property; monitors surveillance equipment; inspects buildings, equipment and access points;
* Completes reports by recording observations, accurate information, occurrences;
* Engages and coordinates emergency response as needed;
* Maintains a calm and professional demeanor in stressful or emergency situations;
* Adheres to all company policies and procedures;
* Respects the privacy and confidentiality of persons seeking healthcare services, in compliance with HIPAA regulations;
* Secures all exits, doors and windows after end of operations;
* Agrees to occasional intermittent work on unscheduled work days for agency events; and
* Performs other job related duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Physical requirements include the following:
* Requires frequent standing, sitting, and walking for prolonged periods of time
* Occasionally lifts and carries items up to 50 pounds
* Requires working under stress in emergency situations
* Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record data electronically and communicate with clients
* Occasional exposure to communicable diseases and bodily fluids
* Requires frequent use computer operation including keyboard and mouse

Qualifications
What We're looking For-The Must-Haves
* High school diploma or GED equivalent
* At least three years of law enforcement, security or military experience
* Ability to safely lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 50 pounds
* Valid Colorado driver license and access to reliable transportation (you will be asked to provide your DMV driving record)
* Basic computer, including e-messaging, and documentation skills
* Ability to work days, weekends, holidays and various shifts
