Summary/Objective:

Island Creek Associates is currently seeking a Graphic Designer to support PMA-275 in Jacksonville, NC. The Graphic Designer works with the warfighter concurrency management team to design and develop graphic/visual effects used in concurrency reference material delivered to the warfighter following engineering changes to the aircraft.

Responsibilities:

This position requires the use of specialized computer software to develop high quality computer illustrations, technical drawings, and animations supporting various media used within the concurrency management materials. The Graphic Designer is capable of using specialized hardware and/or software for video/audio capture and editing of multimedia presentations, incorporates principles of layout design throughout the concurrency management materials production and update process, and is responsible for quality control, review and revision of all aspects of graphics development.

Education/Experience Requirements:

BA/BS degree

Allowable Substitution: Associate degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. OR Four (4) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.

Experience/Skills/Abilities:

• Proficient in manipulating graphic files in Adobe Acrobat XI (reader and pro), Adobe Photo Shop, Adobe Illustrator and, 3D Studio Max.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Travel:

No travel is expected for this position.

Required Work Authorization/Security Clearance

This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information at the Secret Level. Must have a current Secret clearance.

Ideal candidates will currently possess an Active DoD Secret Clearance, however, candidates with US Citizenship and the ability to obtain a DoD clearance will be considered.

Must be able to receive a Government Common Access Card (CAC), access Government systems, and receive a security clearance.
