Overview
The Department of Pain, Palliative Care, and Integrative Medicine at Childrens Minnesota is seeking a Pediatric Palliative Care Physician to join our thriving interdisciplinary team. The position offers a unique opportunity to participate in full-scope palliative & hospice care as part of a collaborative and highly functioning team.
Department Summary
The physician will work as part of a robust interdisciplinary team, including: 4 physicians, 6 advanced practice registered nurses, MD fellows, 3 nurses, social worker, psychologists, child life specialist, physical therapists, spiritual care provider, integrative medicine providers plus support/administrative staff.
The continuity-focused practice environment includes caring for patients in our two free- standing hospitals located in St. Paul and Minneapolis, outpatient clinics, and in our home-based palliative and hospice programs.
The inpatient service is a combined pain and palliative care consultative service while outpatient services are separated into designated palliative care or chronic pain clinics. In 2015 we opened a unique, one-of-a-kind Healing Environment Pain, Palliative and Integrative Medicine Clinic and collaborative working space. Click HERE to learn more about the Pediatric Pain, Palliative and Integrative Medicine department.
