Job SummaryThe Markey Cancer Center is recruiting a Laboratory Technician Senior to work in a wet lab performing technical lab assistance including: data management and analysis, cell culture, RNA isolation and PCR, western blot, plasmid amplification and DNA purification, ELISA and IHC staining. Organizing and analysis of data using Excel or Photoshop; do some animal work, such as maintenance, treatment and sacrificing; lab maintenance, ensure compliance with general lab safety guidelines along with UK and government regulations; and must be able to keep an accurate and detailed scientific notebook both hard copy and electronic.This position is only eligible for a fully on-site work schedule.IMPORTANT: Resumes and CVs cannot be substituted for a completed application.
