Manager, Statistics

PharmaLex US is currently looking for a Statistics Manager. Candidates should be dependable self-starters who bring with them a high level of ownership over their work, an enthusiastic attitude and a collaborative mindset to support our efforts to provide regulatory and development consulting solutions for pharmaceutical and biotech companies of all sizes. 

As a Key Contributor You Will
  • Function as a subject matter expert of clinical statistics. 
  • Provide strategic input and statistical support to clients. 
  • Manage (Bayesian) methodological development and applications for clinical statistics. 
  • Perform thought leadership and business development activities for clinical statistics 
Key Responsibilities and Activities
  • Serve as subject matter expert in clinical statistics, with domain knowledge of innovative trial design and other topics of regulatory sciences, and work with internal and external teams to contribute to strengthening and expanding service offerings. 
  • Participate in methodological development and innovative applications especially in Bayesian statistics and train internal teams on the topics to develop and expand service capabilities. 
  • Represent company at scientific conferences to present innovative methodological and applied research, understand trends in the field and explore business development opportunities as needed. 
  • Support client projects by: 
  • Working with a team to develop statistical programs, reusable functions, or pipelines to perform tasks as set forth in project requirements; perform peer review of programming by others and perform critical review of output such as tables, figures, and listings in static formats or interactive HTML reports for quality control of deliverables. 
  • Interpret analysis results, identify meaningful findings, and suggest value-added next steps. 
  • Provide technical writing for deliverables such as analysis plans, presentations, reports, and manuscripts. 
  • Communicating with clients at teleconferences, and/or onsite visits. 
  • Communicating with management, administrative, and analytical staff.
