About the Position:

Maru Hospitality Group is seeking a creative and intelligent decision maker to fill our Marketing Coordinator (MC) position. The MC oversees all aspects of marketing for all Maru Hospitality Group locations, manages multiple marketing assignments, and acts as a leader and facilitator to build brand image and support revenue goals.

The MC will work alongside the marketing team and internal teams to attract guests and retain existing ones. The role requires collaboration with the marketing team, restaurant managers, chefs, and other teams within Maru Hospitality Group.

The MC is responsible for assisting each location in social media marketing, digital marketing, handling guest feedback, and initiating promotions and sales campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Marketing Brand Strategy

• Develop, execute and oversee digital, social media, and in-store marketing strategy for all restaurants
• Develop and maintain the marketing calendar for menus and store promotions
• Research and develop strategy for media partnerships, grassroots influencer marketing in each market
• Oversee the Maru Brand Voice on all print, digital, and in-store marketing channels
• Research Target Market trends and Maru Uniques to ensure brand alignment

Content Creation Campaign Execution

• Tell the Maru Story via multiple channels, both internally and externally
• Photograph, make videos, and create graphics to promote offerings
• Design print marketing materials such as menus, flyers, various sales materials
• Create and maintain websites and all digital touch points
• Plan, manage, and execute all paid social media campaigns
• Work with GMs to develop promotions and strategies to increase sales
• Design and develop email marketing campaigns and track success

Lead Manage

• Work collaboratively with store leaders and home office team
• Oversee Guest Feedback on digital review channels

ROI/Analytics

• Manage the effectiveness of all marketing campaigns and projects via KPIs and revenue goals
• Manage marketing operating budget

Requirements:

• 2 years experience in marketing or related field
• Both right and left brain thinker: creative with an understanding of how to grow a business
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Organized and detail-oriented with strong project management skills
• Professional camera, multimedia, and video skills is a plus
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong understanding of graphic design and multimedia
• Familiar with food and selling food is a plus
