We design and make our engineeredsolutions and innovative products to meet the strictest qualitystandards while delivering reliable implementation at the lowest cost.Why We Need You: We are hiring a Lead Manufacturing Supervisor, 3rdShift, to be responsible for leading and supporting the productiondepartment in terms of safety, production, quality, cost, deliverytechnical, and human resources. Manage all aspects of the shift throughcollaborative working with the other shifts Lead ManufacturingSupervisors for delivering, and where possible, exceeding, the keyperformance indicators within the operation. Strive to continuallyimprove using Lean tools to reduce costs and improve production andquality. Develop an engaged culture. What You Will Do: Ensures thesafety of all associates in the manufacturing area. Continuouslyimproves safe work practices and environments, which includeshousekeeping. Ensure all safety incidents are thoroughly investigated,documented, and communicated, and put strong corrective actions in placeto prevent future occurrences. Promotes a safety-first culture.Coordinates with the planning department in the development andexecution of daily schedules. Ensures critical item delivery updates andchanges are communicated and executed effectively. Coordinates withother shifts to provide seamless shift turnover and manpower coverage.Ensures shift performance notes are thorough and accurate. Monitor theinternal non-conformance system and support the disposition decisions onthe shift. Communicate and escalate internal quality and processconcerns. Audit quality process controls and standard work to ensurecompliance with the control plan. Follow-up on non-compliance. Assurethat all assigned associates have the training, tools, and equipment tocomplete and perform their responsibilities. Ensures accurate andcomplete training records are maintained for the shift. Ensure theonboarding process is effective. Maintains appropriate staffing levelsfor the shift. Order/cancel temps through HR as required. Closelymonitors manufacturing operational performance in safety, quality,delivery, and cost. Skillful utilization of systems and reports toenhance production and impact company success.
