The impact you will make:
Agios Pharmaceuticals is searching for a dynamic Senior Scientist, DMPK to join our growing DMPK team. We want someone who cares about this important work, and who’s driven to connect to our mission of helping these patient communities. The Senior Scientist will be responsible for targeted quantitative analysis of drugs and biomarkers using LC-MS/MS. Responsibilities will grow to also include metabolomics and pathway analysis. The position will support PK/PD studies from multiple projects in the discovery and translational space and work closely with Biology and Pharmacology to help identify novel biomarkers for preclinical or clinical-stage assets. The Senior Scientist will spend up to 50% of time with hands-on bioanalysis in the Agios laboratories and be responsible for managing multiple LC/MS systems and overseeing work performed at contract research organizations.

Location Specific – Onsite: This role requires the majority of work to be completed onsite at our Cambridge Headquarters. While it is expected that this role will be onsite a minimum of 4 days a week, Agios values flexibility, and flexible schedules around onsite work are available. Regular conversations with manager are encouraged to ensure alignment on in-person presence/expectations. Employees in this role are expected to live within a commutable distance to the office.
