Job Summary:
The Deployment Technician is responsible for providing installation, configuration, kitting, and shipping support for a variety of end user devices at the deployment depot in the North Austin Area.
Essential Job Functions:

· Employee must perform all duties and responsibilities in accordance with company policies and procedures, must be able to help create, update, and follow instructions for deployment procedures for varying device types.
· Provide regular deployments of end user devices that include desktops, laptops, tablets, mobile devices, and associated peripherals.
· Hardware QC and quality grading as needed.
· Install device images and all layered applications using SCCM or similar tools.
· Perform additional device configurations as directed.
· During refreshes, transfer end-user data from the decommissioned device to the new device as directed by company policies where applicable.
· Document all actions performed on deployment checklists as required.
· Coordinate with management team to ensure proper disposal of retired hardware.
Minimum Requirements:
· Education: High school diploma, technical training, or equivalent combination of education and technical experience.
· Experience: Three (3) years of related work experience; experience in an IT environment preferable.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
These are the observable and measurable attributes and skills required to perform successfully the essential functions of the job and are generally demonstrated through qualifying experience, education, or license/certification.
· Strong experience installing, troubleshooting, and supporting the following (or similar): Windows 7, Windows 8, and Mac operating systems, as well as common end-user computing applications (e.g., MS Office, Outlook, VPN); HP, Dell, Tangent, and Apple desktop/laptop hardware systems; OEM certification or at least 3 years of documented service required on at least 2 of these hardware systems; Apple (iPad) and other common tablet computing devices.
· MCSA Windows 7, MCSA Windows 8, and CompTIA A preferred.
· Excellent customer service orientation and verbal communication skills; ability to work with accuracy and minimal direction.
