The Solutions Group LLC is Hiring a Remote Inside Sales Support Representative

A dynamic and innovative IT company in the DC Metro region is in search of an experienced Inside Sales Support Representative to join the team. As a Managed Services Provider (MSP), we are a client-driven company committed to providing the best and most efficient service to our clients. This position plays a critical role assisting with client needs, responding to requests in a timely fashion, staying abreast of critical technological improvements, and answering questions from clients as they arise. This is not a traditional sales role.
We support our customers in all their technology requirements ranging from help with servers, workstations, and network infrastructure, to advice on a decision regarding hosted email solutions, security and PC configurations. The individual we seek must be confident in handling challenges of all sizes and find reward in helping customers make the most of their technology.
What you’ll do:
  • Evaluate customer and project requirements with the technical team to determine best technology fit.
  • Design proposals for hardware and software to meet the client needs in a way that is most functional and efficient while ensuring technical compatibility.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of quotes and proposals.
  • Be an internal expert on the products and services used, why they are recommended, useful features, etc.
  • Track, receive and document the items ordered for the client projects and ensuring timely set up and install.
  • Manage a defined customer base and establish and maintain customer relationships
  • Work closely with vendors to get the best pricing
  • Oversee internal inventory at the office
Qualifications you should have:
  • 4 years of experience in a role in the technology industry, MSP experience a plus.
  • Capacity to communicate technical concepts in simple terms; ability to communicate with clients and co-workers and work with people of diverse backgrounds and experiences.
  • Ability to think logically and creatively and act quickly in the best interests of the client.
  • Must be able to shift priorities to meet the needs and demands of our clients and manage your time effectively without excessive supervision or intervention.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Aptitude for technology
  • Cyber security awareness for proper configuration of all components to meet compliance and regulatory needs.
Other Requirements:
  • This position requires physical labor. Must be able to lift and move asset items up to 75 pounds.
  • Must have transportation and be able to travel to client sites.
  • Candidates must be legally eligible to work in the US.
  • This is a full-time position
