Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Packer/Shipper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for packing and shipping orders accurately and efficiently in a warehouse setting.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

· Pick/Pack & Ship customer orders via “best way” and most economical method

· Accurately complete appropriate shipping documents

· Determine method of shipment through best carriers and/or rates

· Process freight claims regarding any damages

· Ship return orders and warranty items to vendors in a timely manner

· Make note of inventory substitutions on sales orders for adjustments

· Pick “Will Call” orders/counter sales

· Maintain inventory for packing and shipping supplies and order as needed

· Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures including safety regulations

· Ensures proper use of equipment in accordance with safety regulations and provide training as necessary

· Maintain cleanliness of shipping and warehouse areas to include storing materials in appropriate locations

NON-ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

· Maintain a working knowledge of inventory activity

· Assist with Cycle Counting

· Requisition/notify purchasing of stock shortages

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
