Affinia Healthcare is Hiring a Revenue Cycle Reporting Analyst Near St. Louis, MO

Position Summary: The Financial Reporting Analyst is an autonomous position responsible for developing and running Practice Management reports with a design to meet specific contractual and program related requirements. This role will perform data collection, validation, and narration often as part of interdisciplinary teams. This role ensures excellence in financial reporting for KPIs, grants, payers, provider productivity, budgets, monthly financials, and other areas as determined by director.

Education: Bachelor's degree required. Knowledge of revenue cycle management and FQHC operations and financial management are key.

Experience

  1. Two (2) years of related experience in a health care-related setting or a related advanced health industry degree is preferred.
  2. Excel; MS Office; knowledge and experience with practice management system reporting.
  3. NextGen use would be a plus.

Skills and Abilities:

  1. Good oral and written communication skills
  2. Thorough understanding of financial reporting
  3. Comfortable participating on multidisciplinary teams
  4. Ability to prepare supporting or correcting documentation as deemed appropriate
  5. Initiative-taking to explore documentation detail through research and internal networking

Transportation Requirement: None

Licensures, Certifications: NextGen PM Certified preferred

FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Essential Functions:

  1. Develop and run Practice Management reports.
  2. Interface with key providers (e.g., dental hygienists, behavioral health, physicians, community health team, etc.), clinical support staff, and other support staff to ensure that data is being entered correctly and policies/procedures are followed.
  3. Provide guidance, analysis, management, and methodological support for the development of measurement plans for new performance indicators.
  4. Provide interpretation and presentations to others (oral or written) to ensure financial goals are met.
