JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for the design and costing of product. This includes all manufacturing prints, tooling, overlays, and required electronic files. Communicates with customers on design concepts and parameters. Processing of job routers and manufacturing paperwork. Works with manufacturing on process and quality improvements, troubleshooting problems and tooling/fixture designs.
JOB DUTIES:
Required to produce manufacturing/customer drawings, and overlays utilizing SolidWorks software.
· Report time and material in manufacturing systems
· Perform other duties as required
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
· 2-year technical degree or equivalent work experience
· Correctly and accurately draw required customer and manufacturing prints
· Must be proficient in SolidWorks and/or similar CAD software
PREFERRED SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:
· Strong mechanical and conceptual aptitude
· 3 years of related experience
· Functional and technical skills
· Excellent communication skills
· Good computer skills; excel, word, ERP systems
· Experience with CAM packages; MasterCam
· Attention to detail and have sound judgment
· Interaction with customers
