We are looking for a talented Civil Engineer to join our Roadway/Highway team. This opportunity can be based out of any of our Indiana offices. The ideal candidate for this role will be a Professional Engineer with experience working on LPA and/or INDOT roadway design projects. We provide multi-disciplined services for a variety of public agencies and private entities, including transportation design; water resources design; environmental analysis & permitting; construction engineering & inspection; traffic engineering & transportation planning; surveying; and land acquisition & appraisal. In this position, the candidate will:

• Work on a variety of DOT and/or LPA roadway/highway projects.
• Have knowledge of principles and practices in Roadway/Highway design.
• Evaluate and adapt standard techniques and criteria to perform tasks for conventional projects.
• Acquire general knowledge of practices in related fields and function as a part of multidisciplinary teams.
• Work on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects.
• May assign tasks to and direct engineers, technicians, and administrative staff.
• Plan and coordinate detailed aspects of the engineering work.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, and schedules for assignments.
• Assist with proposals or funding applications.
• Perform other duties associated with the position.
• Responsibilities may vary based on the experience level of the selected candidate.

Qualifications for this role:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
• Registered Professional Engineer
• 7 years of experience in this discipline (Candidates with higher levels of experience are welcome to apply)
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Microstation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal
• Ability to work well individually or as part of a team are essential
