Berkman Industries, LLC is seeking a Commercial Door Installation Technician. Applicants must have previous training by industry experts to install and/or repair roll up doors also known as dock doors/overhead doors. You will successfully identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services. MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE: OVERHEAD DOORS/DOCK LEVELERS

Job Responsibilities/Requirements:
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans
- Install drywall and metal stud framing according to specifications
- Perform caulking and sealing tasks to ensure airtightness and water resistance
- Install/repair commercial overhead doors
- Conduct repairs and maintenance as needed

- Experience in a construction related industry
- Welding/electrical experience required
- Must have excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to operate in safety conscious manner while performing job duties
- Responsible for tracking and maintaining job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently

Experience:
- Previous experience in construction or installation work of overhead doors and dock levelers
- Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans
- Knowledge of drywall installation techniques and metal stud framing
- Familiarity with caulking and sealing methods
- Skills in trim carpentry, cabinet installation, and fixture installation
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, welder, and measuring equipment effectively

Job Qualifications:

- Education: High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Ability to safely lift 75-100 pounds over your head
- Must possess valid driver's license with personal car insurance
