Western Signs & Lighting LLC designs, manufactures, installs, services and repairs a variety of signs, security lighting and flagpoles for businesses and organizations.

I. KEY JOB FUNCTIONS

1. Performing installations, maintenance and repairs to signs and flagpoles.

2. Loading and transporting all signage, tools, hardware and materials to job sites safely.

3. Preparing job sites by removing old signage (if required), preparing surfaces or structures for new signs.

4. Clearing debris and materials from job sites after each installation/removal.

5. Physically fit and able to perform strenuous labor (as noted below)

II. QUALIFICATIONS - Ability to pay attention and retain information that will be taught regarding various types of signs and flagpoles. This will include vinyl, channel lettering, pylon & monument signs, flagpoles, as well as, installation methods, materials and safety measures.

III. SPECIAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS : Working off the ground, up to 80’ (most times 15 – 25’ foot heights).

IV. ESSENTIAL ELEMENTS / JOB FUNCTIONS ASSESSMENT

a. Physical : Repetitive bending, stooping, standing, lifting – 50 lbs., climbing ladders, measuring, loading and unloading company trucks. Operate hand and power tools

b. Mental: Operating and maintaining the tools and equipment safely. Properly completing all required paperwork, logs, vehicle inspections. Operate company vehicles and equipment.

c. Other Requirements : Clearly communicate with Project Managers, Operations and Sales, as well as, clients on the job site. Good mechanical abilities.

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
