to lead human resources and drive strategic initiatives.
Position Overview:
The
Senior Vice President of Human Resources
will play a crucial role in shaping and executing HR strategies that align with the companys objectives and values. This individual will oversee all aspects of HR operations, including talent acquisition, employee relations, compensation and benefits, HRIS management, and compliance. The successful candidate will lead a team of 5-10 direct and indirect reports globally and collaborate closely with senior leadership to cultivate a diverse and inclusive work environment that empowers employees to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that support organizational objectives and foster employee engagement and retention.
Lead the design, implementation, and administration of competitive compensation and benefits programs to attract and retain top talent.
Provide strategic guidance and direction to HR team members, fostering a high-performance culture and promoting professional development.
Evaluate, select, and implement HRIS platforms to streamline HR processes and enhance data-driven decision-making.
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations, both domestically and internationally, staying abreast of changes and proactively mitigating risks.
Partner with senior leadership to assess organizational needs and develop workforce planning strategies to address current and future talent requirements.
Drive initiatives to enhance diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization, fostering a culture of belonging and respect.
Oversee employee relations matters, including performance management, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution, ensuring fair and consistent practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive HR-related projects and initiatives, fostering a collaborative and results-oriented approach.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within a global manufacturing or similar industry.
SHRM-CP or SPHR certification preferred.
Previous M&A integration experience preferred.
Deep knowledge of employment laws and regulations across multiple jurisdictions, with a demonstrated ability to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Proven experience developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business results and enhance employee engagement and retention.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve excellence.
Experience managing compensation and benefits programs, including design, administration, and benchmarking.
Proficiency in evaluating and implementing HRIS platforms to support HR operations and enhance data analytics capabilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a results-oriented mindset and a commitment to continuous improvement.
