Position Summary:
Our respiratory therapists support patient care in a range of areas, including:
* Emergency Department
* Trauma ICU (Level l)
* Cardiovascular ICU
* Medical Critical Care
* Neurological Critical Care
* Progressive Care Unit
* Pediatric ICU
* Neonatal ICU (Level 3)
* Plus 18 Acute Care Locations
* UTLIFESTAR Transport*
Additional opportunities:
* Inpatient and Outpatient Pulmonary Function Testing (5 regional testing locations)
* Diagnostic and Interventional Pulmonary Program (Basic bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, robotically assisted navigational bronchoscopy, cryo-therapy, and many more)
* Some of our respiratory therapists receive additional training to accompany NICU patients on UTLIFESTAR
Position Qualification:
Associates degree (AA) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Tennessee Respiratory Care Therapist licensure; Respiratory Therapist registration from National Board of Respiratory care.
