Reporting to the EVP of Operations, this position will be responsible for accounting and financial management requirements for a select portfolio of properties. You will provide the general managers and property finance leaders with meaningful and timely information on the status of hotels’ performance. You will proactively assist with cost containment, revenue, profit improvement initiatives and safeguarding the company’s assets.
Responsibilities:
In this role you will be the main point of contact with the corporate office, regional team, asset managers and owners related to the properties on budgets, forecasts, and labor tracking.
Coordinate budget preparations and ensure all hotels are on pace to budget and forecast and any variances are justified.
Oversee annual department budgets and monitor period profit and loss statements.
Provide the regional team and asset managers with timely and accurate data on which to make management decisions. Review and provide accurate and meaningful financial statements to owners and management.
Review forecasts, P&L statements, and balance sheets monthly by hotel.
Ensure controls are minimizing losses and maximizing profits by retaining revenues, reducing expenses, and safeguarding hotel assets.
Coordinate the research of trends and builds recommendations to positively impact the portfolio’s financial performance.
Conduct P&L review prior to closing and coordinates hotel / regional team call to review P&L and 90-day forecasts, each month.
Administer and maintain accurate records of necessary federal, state, and local reports as required by the applicable laws, franchise SOPs, and Concord/local SOPs.
