What does this role entail?

The objective of the Senior Manager role, in the Market Development Team, is to work with our sales leaders, and their teams, to support key strategic engagements. You will drive how we can introduce our solutions to target audiences that sales teams have not yet reached. You will drive repeatable sales motions and campaigns to deepen our market penetration and capitalize on relevant adjacencies. You will support the consistent execution of our playbooks by helping win strategic and pioneer clients. You will be an important member of the Americas sales team, working closely with sales, marketing, and partnership teams, to drive deeper engagements and success. You will be reporting directly to the Global Head of Market Development, while working closely with members of the Market Development Team around the world.

  • Collaborate with the Sales team, as well as other cross functional teams within a deal process, to synthesize information and present, quantitatively and qualitatively, Fenergo’s value proposition.
  • Be able to present theses to clients and drive the sales process in partnership with Field Sales Representatives (FSRs).
  • Conduct comprehensive prospect research for various financial industry verticals, providing valuable insights to enhance outreach strategies and align GTM tactics.
  • Collaborate with Business Development Representatives (BDRs) in the creation and enablement of collateral materials to support prospect engagement.
  • Monitor and report on regional sales statistics, including progress on key market entry strategies, sales development, marketing transformation, and other relevant metrics.
  • Establish and maintain a system for tracking and monitoring regional-specific competitive activities, ensuring the team stays informed about market dynamics.
  • Partner with the regional lead to develop compelling value propositions across all motions, segments, and competitors.
  • Contribute to the direction of thought leadership initiatives by conducting thorough market research and providing insights within Fenergo.
Desired Experience
  • 6-8 years’ experience in Investment Banking, Management Consulting, Business Operations, and/or Technology Architecture at a Financial Institution.
  • In-depth understanding of the financial services industry, including its history, trends, and future developments. Familiarity with Corporate Banking, Commercial Banking, Asset Management, etc.
  • Proven experience in structuring and delivering technology strategy projects. Broad understanding of current technology practices (Agile, Cloud Computing/SaaS, Enterprise Data Management, etc.) and emerging trends (Robotics/AI, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong project and process management skills.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • A proactive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to embrace business change, are essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Financial accounting experience.
  • Understanding of Target Operating Model process design.
Nice to have / Skills that could make the difference.
  • Willingness to travel.
  • Ideally candidate will have knowledge of KYC/AML and client management processes and functions across the financial services industry.
