Summary: The Registered Dental Hygienist supports dental care by assisting with hygiene patients and virtual care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Performs all functions as permitted by the Dental Board of California for a Registered Dental Hygienist

• Performs ancillary functions of dental assisting, as needed, including but not limited to:

?? -Assists the doctor in procedures as needed

?? -Operates x-ray equipment and takes x-rays

?? -Prophys teeth

?? -Instructs patients on oral hygiene

?? -Charts cavities and teeth with the doctor

?? -Sterilizes instruments

Supervisory Responsibilities: This job has supervisory duties over other Back Office employees on days the office is performing Teledentistry services.

Education and/or Experience:

• Certification for a dental college OR 3 months related experience and/or training OR equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred

• Active Dental Hygiene License
• Current BLS certification
